Listen, the partnerships slated for this year need to be on your radar.

What I love about these partnerships is they offer superb products at price points that are affordable for many. Let’s get into the best beauty and fashion collaborations currently available or launching soon.

9 of the Prettiest Spring Nail Colors

For the past year, I’ve been rocking the same creamy white polish. That color stands out in its own way and goes with everything. For spring, though, I’m mixing it up a little. Does spring make you reach for all the pretty colors too? These spring nail colors are the perfect complements to spring’s must-have styles. By the way, I’m wearing two of these nail colors in my Lilac and Navy post (see it here)

At-home Manicure/Pedicure Essentials:

A Super Easy Way to Get a Fresh Hair Color

This shop has been compensated by Schwarzkopf. #FashionColorExpert #sponsored

I recently celebrated one year since chopping all my hair off. Best decision ever! To honor the occasion, I’ve decided to refresh my hair color. It’s about time, right? I love the season’s cheeriest colors, and a more vibrant spring hair color would nicely complement those styles.

Since I was pleased with my last at-home color treatment (read more about that here), I returned to Walmart to purchase another  product. The assortment of the latest fashion colors in this line drew me to it. After using it, the vibrant and long lasting color made me a repeat user.

During the fall, I chose the color Velvet Brown. For spring, Cinnamon Brown is my top choice in the  line. I like to stay in the deep brunette color family because of my haircut with the fade that grows out quickly. These deeper hues blend well as my fade grows out.

Just like last time, this system makes coloring the hair easy. Everything you will need for the color application process comes inside the box. From the instructions to disposable gloves to  the color applicator, it’s all in there.

Easy steps to a spring hair color

After a few simple steps, I had a fresh-for-spring hair color. Here’s what I had to do: (1) read the instructions, (2) put on the gloves and blend the color cream with the developer lotion, (3) apply the color to my hair, (4) set a timer and wait 30 minutes, then (5) rinse, shampoo, and condition. That’s it!

Here’s a side-by-side view to show my transition. Isn’t the color amazing? I love how vibrant and even shiny it makes my hair appear.

How to Switch up your Beauty Routine for Spring

This post is sponsored by Walmart.

I’m a staple-products kind of woman. When I find products that work for me, I stay loyal to them. What I’ve learned, however, is that it’s important to occasionally switch up your beauty routine to ensure that your skin is getting what it needs. Seasonal changes, for example, put different demands on our skincare products. So, I like to tweak my routine when welcoming a  new season

Now, I’m no guinea pig, I like to stick to brands I know and trust. I’m a fan of Shea Moisture because the products use organic, good-for-you ingredients that perform as promised. The line also offers products for our head-to-toe needs. For spring, I’m infusing a few new Shea Moisture products into my routine.

Spring Beauty Routine

Cleanse:

Is it just me, or after winter your skin feels like it needs its moisture replenished? When I choose cleaners, then, I like to make sure they’re gentle on my skin and also nourishing. And, the selection of Shea Moisture cleansers is so wide that I often discover new-to-me formulas there, including the . Do yourselves a favor and try this soap.

Deep Cleanse/Treat:

Don’t want to change your staple facial products? Me neither! To make your routine fresh for spring, consider simply adding a new mask to your regimen. The skin-healing and hydrating properties of the right mask might be just what your skin needs to recover from winter.

This is my go-to for spring because it leaves my skin exfoliated and bright. While it is a mud mask, this one doesn’t get caky, dry, nor irritating.

And, when you wash it off? The skin feels so refreshed.

Moisturize:

Shea moisture. Aloe. Coconut oil. You only need to glimpse the ingredients in this next moisturizer to know that it’s good stuff. The  is the kind of product that’ll satisfy all your skin’s issues, from dryness to sensitivity.

I love that the lotion is lightweight, non-greasy, and super moisturizing. It’s perfect for for replenishing the skin after a harsh winter. It’s often hard to find, but I always have luck finding it .

Did I mention that it smells amazing? It does!

Hair:

I wash my hair often, after workouts and in the mornings to get it ready for styling. So, I’m picky when it comes to shampoos and conditioners because I use them so frequently. Since testing the and , I knew they were perfect for my spring hair routine.

These two products are moisturizing, shine-enhancing, and softening. My hair loves them. By the way, it’s so easy to shop these products at Walmart. After realizing how effective these products were on my hair, I decided test a new by Shea Moisture.

Getting More Proactive About Skincare in 2018

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #yourfix #CollectiveBias

When I was in elementary school, one of my teachers told me not to smile as much because I’d get smile lines all over my face. I’m not sure that’s true, but it did haunt me. Wrinkles are unavoidable, but since I’m aware of my constant smiling, I’m trying to be proactive. I’ve particularly been noticing under-eye creases in my photographs, so I tried Philosophy’s NEW Ultimate Miracle Worker Fix for Eyes. In just 12 weeks, I was blown away by the results! See why below.

As a blogger, I’m constantly being photographed. When I found myself becoming hyper aware of the wrinkles and creases under my eyes, I decided to take action, y’all. There are many products on the market that promise to improve under-eye smoothness. I turned to Philosophy because of its reputation as a well-being brand. I have sensitive skin, and of course, the skin around the eyes is delicate. So, I wanted a product that would address my creases with good-for-my-skin ingredients, like patented bi-retinoid. The Ultimate Fix for Eyes, which is available at delivers in that regard.

Philosophy Ultimate Miracle Worker

Last December, I started my journey to smoother eyes. Adding the Ultimate Fix for Eyes to my skincare routine was easy. Every morning and every night, I take the following steps:

Proactive Skincare Routine

Step 1: Wash my face with a gentle cleanser

Step 2: Apply a rosewater and tea tree oil toner

Step 3: Moisturize with my go-to face cream

Step 4: Use my fingers to apply the Ultimate Fix for Eyes under my eyes.

After one day of using the Philosophy product, I could see it working. My under eyes appeared smoother. Was this really happening? It was!

After only 12 days, my dry skin in that area appeared more plump and hence less rough. The changes were subtle, but they had such a huge effect on my overall look. It’s like my wrinkles became iron flat. This result was obvious in my non-makeup looks (see first image), but it was also evident in my makeup looks too.

Since using the product, I spend less time worrying about my concealer creasing and cracking under my eyes. That gives me more time to celebrate my countdown to the big 4-0 this year. Ya girl is turning 40! And, I feel so much more youthful because my skin looks more youthful now since including Fix for the Eyes in my skincare routine.

Disclaimer: ultimate miracle worker eye fix is a  super-targeted, supertasking eye treatment. if you aren’t an experienced user of advanced ingredients (high potency retinols, vitamin c, etc.), we recommend introducing the product gradually. initially every other day, then every day, then twice a day. discontinue use if any irritation occurs.
